Weddy or not, it’s ‘I Do’ season, so turn to Irish label Cobbler’s Lane to shine (without upstaging the bride), writes Denise Smith
Last week I found myself breaking out in a cold sweat in a bustling shopping centre because I was dress-less 24 hours before one of my closest friend’s big day.
Despite ordering a wedding guest look well in advance, postage delays meant I was eyeing up Victoria Beckham designs for upwards of €1,000 before I swiftly slapped myself back down to earth.
Panic shopping will do that to you. To help you avoid the same fate this summer, Irish slow fashion brand Cobbler’s Lane has launched the most stunning 10-piece collection.
Named Hotel Positano, it was inspired by a moment experienced by owner Monica Walsh while watching the sun set over the Italian seaside village of Positano, although the range is produced entirely in Ireland.
The dreamy collection includes colour-blocked dresses in satin and cotton, featuring puff sleeves for just the right amount of drama. You’re also sure to be ‘guest in show’ in a romantic floral creation, hand-drawn and digitally printed on recycled polyester. Check out the full collection atcobblerslane.com.
